Although Database Applications can tailor-make an application suited to a particular need, there are a few cases where a ready-made application can fill a need with few or no modifications.
jCart
jCart is an online shopping cart created to intergrate out-of-the-box with DirectOne, an Online Credit Card Payment Processing Service Supplier. DirectOne and SecurePay seems to be one and the same.

jTest
jTest is a multiple choice test application that runs in JBoss. The beauty of it is that it grades the tests, leaving the teacher/lecturer free for other things. jTest is a big application. To read more about it, click here.
jMailer
jMailer is an application for submitting the contents of any html form as e-mail.
jMailer uses the Apache Commons mail libraries. It is extremely simple to configure and can send the contents of html from elements as e-mail to any number of recipients. Database Applications offers this for free. Here is a link to a page with more information on jMailer.
jDirectory
jDirectory is a directory web-application. It has top level categories, sub-categories and entries. A top level category can have only sub-categories, but any sub-category can have any number of child sub-categories and any number of entries. To dissuade users from making their entries near the top, categories are displayed before entries. All users have a full page as the ultimate entry.
A user signs up, gets an e-mail to activate his account and can then add up to three entries.
To see a few example pages of jDirectory, click the link. The directory site can of course be decked out in any livery. It needs not be the pleasing grey of the example nor needs the layout or wording be in any way the same.
Online Shops
Database Applications has set up several online shops. The links are on the home page. One of these shops sells online documents. After paying for the documents the user is directed to a page with links to the documents already paid for. The user then downloads these documents. The documents are stored outside the web-server context and cannot be migrated to using a browser. The page the user is directed to after paying cannot successfully be bookmarked.
Used Car Websites
Vehicles are tailor made for databases - different categories, makes, models, years etc, etc. Database Applications created a few used car websites. Uploading the vehicle with up to four photos, and subsequent inventory upkeep, is a breeze. Click here to see one such a website in action.
